Voting and Membership Dues

It’s that time of year to do two very important things:

1. Vote
While our candidates for the board positions of Chair-Elect and Secretary were unopposed, it’s still important to vote.  Also, there is a ‘referendum’ vote for a change to our by-laws.  Your vote there will make a big difference in how our chapter handles business.

2. Renew your SCC membership
Although we had a great showing early on, the number of dues renewals has been trailing off.  If you no longer intend to be a member, you should terminate (or transfer) your membership, as it will be more expensive to reinstate during the year next year.  Also, if you know of someone who was a member but has left the industry or the chapter, encourage that person to terminate or transfer their membership.
