  • SCC Amnesty Program.

    The SCC is offering an amnesty program to lapsed members.  In 2010 any previous member can reinstate their membership without paying penalty of additional dues.

    The Society of Cosmetic Chemists Midwest Chapter presents TEAMWORKS 2010, the premier industrial trade show for the personal care industry in mid-America, to be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, near O’Hare International Airport. Trade show hours are from 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm.  Exhibitor registration now open.

  • SCC Emeritus Member Maso Passes

    SCC Emeritus member and industry icon Henry F. Maso passed away on Mar. 3, 2009. Maso served as president the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) in 1967 and president of the International Federation of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) in 1983. In 1971, Maso received the society’s highest honor, the Maison G. deNavarre Medal Award.

  • ACS 38th Great Lakes Regional Meeting

    The 38th Great Lakes Regional Meeting (GLRM) of the American Chemical Society, hosted by the Chicago Local Section, will be held May 13 - 16, 2009 at the Lincolnshire Marriott in Lincolnshire, IL.  The theme for this meeting is “A Better Environment Through Chemistry”.  The most up-to-date information on the meeting is available at the website, www.GLRM2009.org.  Advance registration for the meeting is open, and can be made at our website.  A link is also available on the website to reserve accommodations at the Lincolnshire Marriott for the meeting.

  • Journal of Cosmetic Science Now Online!

    In partnership with the New York Chapter, the SCC has now published a digital archive of the Journal of Cosmetic Science.  It is available at http://journal.scconline.org/
